Sespe prepared a comprehensive workplace hazard exposure assessment program for a large active mining facility in Ventura County. The exposure assessment program determines the appropriate occupational exposure limits, presents methodologies for exposure monitoring, prioritizes similar exposure groups for monitoring of each hazard, and dictates the frequency with which exposure monitoring shall be conducted. The program addressed exposure to dust, noise, welding fumes, fuel, heat, and ergonomic hazards. In addition to preparation of the overarching exposure assessment plan, Sespe assists in conducting the exposure monitoring events and interpreting the results.
